Microbiological analysis on selective media

We perform tests for specific microorganisms according to Ph Eur 2.6.13 / USP . Testing for specific microorganisms is performed using selective media. Since this is a non-quantitative test, the sample is first pre-incubated in general purpose media and thereafter spread onto selective media.
IBefore analysing a product in routine, a Method Suitablitiy Test (MST) is performed. This test verifies the method of choice by pointing out possible antimicrobial properties of the Product. Validation is done by inoculating the product with ≤ 100 CFU of microorganisms defined by the pharmacopoeia.
The specific microorganisms that we test for are:
- Escherichia coli
- Salmonella
- Staphylococcus aureus
- Pseudomonas aeruginosa
- Clostridia
- Candida albicans
- Bile-tolerant Gram Negative bacteria
Analysis result, lead time
Normal time requirement from customer order to analysis report-out are 5 to 7 business days but may vary depending on sample characteristics. For more information, see general terms and conditions.
